If you have a Magento Commerce (or Open Source) website which is not performing, or you are experiencing significant development issues we can help establish  a comprehensive site audit both as 'one off' piece of work or as part of our onboarding process.

WE audit Magento

Our Magento code audits cover all key areas of your Magento website. The output will be a list of recommendations which will make your Magento 1.x or Magento 2.x platform more stable, secure and scaleable.

The Magento code audits we create are very comprehensive and are designed to help us get to up to speed on your website as well as provide a list of actionable tasks which we can help you apply or that can be taken back to your in-house team or existing development agency.

Solutions that work

We have worked on Magento since 2008 and have been an official solutions partner since 2010. During this time we have worked on multiple Magento 1.X versions on both Community and Enterprise. In recent years we have been one of the most active partners on the Magento 2 platform with over 20 website launches on Magento 2 since its launch in October 2016 with 6 of those launched on the Magento Commerce Cloud platform.

The team who work on our Magento Audits have achieved all of the available Magento certifications both for developers and solution specialists.

how we help

Point in time audit of the Magento Codebase.
Review of core code, inclusive of a comparison check between your platform & an 'off the shelf' Magento instance of the same version.
Assessment of the security patches & known vulnerabilities
Hosting Supplier & Server Architecture
Website/Database Performance Review (*If tools like New Relic have been installed)

what we need

We will require access to your:
Magento Admin • Server Access • Git / SVN access • Google Analytics
New Relic (Or any other 3rd party performance tools)

Our audits are usually delivered within 2-4 weeks following official sign off. If you need a response sooner, please let us know and we'll review the studio at that time and see if it can be delivered quicker.

Once the audit is completed we like to have a face to face meeting to discuss the findings. We are also happy to do this via video call.
The audit will included Recommended Remedial Actions. Any issues identified for further investigation will be numbered with an RRA (Recommended Remedial Action) reference and coloured on a RAG scale (Red, Amber, Green). Red RRAs are critical to one of the key focus areas and should be dealt with as a priority. Amber RRAs are secondary concerns and can be dealt with in a longer time period. Green RRAs are informational only.

If you are on-boarding with ourselves we would add these tasks to our initial backlog with you and prioritise accordingly. If you are commissioning the audit as a 'one off' piece of work we can give you an estimate of how long it would take us to resolve these issues.
