DRIVING OMNICHANNEL PERFORMANCE WITH MAGENTO 2 COMMERCE CLOUD
Website speed - Having begun to experience some limitations in terms of site speed and performance on Magento 1, Jollyes chose to upgrade to Magento 2.0 and Commerce Cloud. Enabling them to continue their substantial growth and meet future objectives.
User experience on mobile - A key part of the project was the implementation of a new mobile-first design to bring Jollyes up to speed with a shift in consumer shopping habits.
Click and collect - With over 70 stores across the UK, Jollyes require an advanced click and collect system. Having built a bespoke ‘Click & Collect’ system including real-time store stock checker and automated order management for their Magento 1 website, this needed to be re-evaluated and migrated across.
As one of the largest specialised retailers in the UK, it is vital that Jollyes have a reliable website platform and hosting solution for their online store and advanced click and collect process.
Having undergone a series of roadmapping sessions, Jollyes chose Two Jay to cover all aspects of the migration to Magento 2.0 Enterprise and Magento Cloud including design and development ahead of March 2018 launch and support thereafter.
The main project priorities included a mobile-first design, checkout flow optimisation, re-evaluation of Click & Collect, site speed and Klevu integration for optimised site search.
Having chosen Magento 2 Enterprise and Commerce Cloud, the overall outcome was a reliable and scalable solution which aids omnichannel performance and future growth plans. Offering an improved user experience, specifically on mobile, while growth in stores has occurred as a direct result of Click & Collect - allowing Jollyes to capitalise on impulse purchases and up-sells.
